Force feedback devices can add a new dimension to your Director and ShockWave games. For example if you were creating a fishing game you could create force feedback effects that simulated a fishing pole or if you were creating a space invaders clone you could feel the firing of a missile. If your customer has DirectX 5.0 and above the Xtra can use it, but it also has the ability to use the default joystick drivers present on all Win32 systems. By being able to dynamically use either method your application can use most joysticks without asking your end user to install other software while taking advantage of advanced features when present. On systems with multiple joysticks the Xtra provides several functions and dialogs to help your customer choose which device to use as well as dialogs to calibrate it. Force feedback gives your application a whole new dimension and the RavJoystick Xtra gives you the ability to take advantage of these devices.
