Attr allows you to set files to be read-only or not read-only through Lingo. This XtraTM was designed as a work-around for the "file-In-Use" problem often encountered on Windows 95 with Director 5.0.1. When a Director 5.0.1 movie directly or indirectly opens a DLL or external executable file under Windows 95, this executable gets passed a list of all the files that Director has open. These files are then marked as being in use by the system so that even after the projector quits, they can not be opened again.
