DmmXMLServer is a performant and simple XML Socket Server, that enables in Macromedia Flash, Director and Authorware to create multiuser applications, games for more players, chats etc. You can also create Web-CD applications and make use of all the advantages of multiuser surrounding. XML Socket Server is a multiuser server that checks if a user has been connected and that ensures the communication between clients using a XML protocol and the PUSH technology. The server supports the model of rooms for chatting and games. The rooms can either be visible for all users or hidden. The hidden rooms are used when playing multiuser games. The client can either send messages to all clients in one room or they can send private messages to a certain client only. The administration of the server is ensured using a simple XML document.
