Firefly opens up the world of disc burning to developers, allowing them to incorporate advanced backup, burning, and creation abilities to their applications. Both CD and DVD media are supported with most any standard burner. Firefly Standard will support ISO disc burning, while the Professional version will add the ability to record Audio CDs, VCD, UDF, DVD, and DVD video discs. Firefly Standard and Professional will be priced at $299 and $599 respectively, but for a limited time are being offered at $249 and $499.
