TextureXtractor will extract and save most of the textures built into your W3D file (the #importedFromFile textures) which is not directly possible with lingo.
Simply place the textureXtractor.dxr into Director's Xtras folder and it will show in the Director's Xtras menu.
You can choose between extracting textures from any W3D file on your hard drive or from a W3D cast member.
The extracted textures can be automatically saved as jpegs and will retain exactly their names, size and compression quality as stored in the W3D file.
TextureXtractor doesn't yet support alpha channeled textures but probably will in the future as well as lingo control if there is sufficient interest.
